Caleb's Tshirt quilt

Here's the tshirt quilt I made for Caleb when he went to college this year. I didn't really know what I was doing & it got a little crazy, but he likes it. :)

Berkeley's quilt

FINALLY! I finished the secret project... it's a baby quilt for friends who are adopting a baby girl from China. They are having to endure a long wait, so I'm going to give them the quilt now to hopefully encourage them. I found this fabric on ebay & couldn't resist. I made the sunbonnet(umbrella) girl pattern after one of the little girls in the fabric. It's hand-quilted & on the printed fabric squares, I quilted in the initial "B" for Berkeley. It was tons of fun. I hope they like it.

Secret project

so how sad is this... my latest project is a secret. so obviously i can't describe it here.
it's a surprise for a friend & i have to say it is adorable.
so after i give it to her ~several months from now~ i'll post pics.
this blog thing is really turning out a little pathetic on my end. :)

a quilting blog?

so i'm starting a blog to track my quilting...
mainly i need to stop annoying my facebook friends by posting pictures of my quilt blocks rather than pictures of FACES.
so this is a start.
